Gala for Gals Fundraiser 2018
A huge array of gifts and other treasures was on display at this year's Gala for Gals fundraising event.
For the ninth year in a row, the ladies of St. Joseph's Church have pulled out all the stops to host a Christmas-themed event which brings joy to their guests, and much needed funds into the Church Renovation account.
Nearly 150 guests flocked to Shelby Gardens for a lovely dinner of Chicken Marsala, roasted potatoes, pasta, salad, desserts, and much more. There were door prizes galore as well as exciting raffles: a box with an undisclosed amount of cash, a tree of lottery tickets, a basket full of therapeutic treats, etc. The silent auction tables were packed with gifts and many a guest went home with Chrsitmas gifts at a bargain price.
Best of all, the merrymaking succeeded in raising almost $13,000 towards the sanctuary renovation project which will be initiated this coming year. Thank you to all who participated in this wonderful event. Be sure to join us next year for more fun and games to benefit St. Joseph's!
