In our Catholic community the faithful are given many opportunities to grow in their faith through the sacraments and various apostolic organizations.
St. Joseph’s Church strives to offer the faithful every opportunity to root themselves more solidly into the mystical body of Christ.
The priests reside nearby, giving occasion for daily attendance at Mass and frequent reception of the sacrament of penance.
Other spiritual and devotional exercises, frequent opportunities for giving public testimony of the Faith, and regular social events meant to foster Catholic friendship in the community are also readily available.
Above and beyond this, the faithful are encouraged to become members of the many sodalities and charitable organizations present at St. Joseph’s Church. Men, women, youth and children all have groups focused on their specific needs and vocations, and those who feel called to become lay members of a religious order have the opportunity to join the Third Order of St. Pius X with all of it duties and privileges.
The word "Catholic" means universal, and St. Joseph’s has accepted that word as a call to incorporate the Faith into every aspect of life: liturgy, home and family, work, education, and society. The prayer of the Church, with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass at its center, combined with a flourishing and active parish life allows our members to strive to meet this challenge.
