The First St. Joseph's Table in Recent Memory Surpassed Expectations

The St. Joseph's Table auction on March 17 was a tremendous success. Not only was $3800 raised to support parish vocations, but our beloved Patron was honored with a beautiful display.

This event was a result of the combined efforts of many parishioners as well as various apostolic societies: The Holy Name Society, The Altar & Rosary Society, Radix, Incendo, The Archconfraternity of St. Stephen, etc. It was a beautiful example of what can happen when God's people join together, working for His glory.

The first-ever cake decorating contest brought out a wealth of participation, particularly among the children. There were cakes shaped like lambs, cakes shaped like open books, and even a crucifix made out of cake. The judges had a hard time deciding, but selected 1st-5th place awards. When the auction began, the winning cakes fetched a high price, indeed!

More unique features of the auction included the reserved parking space and the large statues of Our Lady and St. Joseph. The Flores family won the privilege of a reserved parking space for the next year. The Cinpinski's will enjoy the presence of Our Lady of Fatima at their home, while St. Joseph will reside with the Zetouna household until the next St. Joseph Table n 2020.

We pray that we are able to exceed this year's wonderful results!
